We are back home, and I want to tell you about the DayMakers purse. It was just wonderful!! My daily 'load' in it was 2 cameras (sans cases), cell phone, small wallet. The outer pockets held comb, lipstick, mirror, tissues, passport, maps, and other misc. It wasn't heavy at all, and the shape of it conforms to the contours of the body. It was great! I am thinking about getting the 7 or 9-pocket one for everyday use.

My wife recently gave me your large Silo HipSafe pack in brown cloth, which she bought from 'TravelSmith' in Novato, California. I write to say that I'm enthusiastic about it, almost big enough for an overnight trip and seemingly secure, with all sorts of pockets to organize myself! Yesterday two French tourists touring Roman ruins here bemoaned the loss of an ordinary pack which was opened in the crowd in the bazaar in Sousse, south of Tunis, when the light-fingered pickpocket made off with money, credit cards, and passports, virtually ruining their holiday. Needless to say, they were very taken with the HipSafe.

Dear Great Travel Bag Makers --- I bought your black original bag a few years ago and it has been exactly what I have needed traveling and working on the line of control Kashmir-Ladakh and Northern India. I have used it everyday for 6 years.
Here's a great story about this bag:
I was traveling in Indonesia, by boat, the ferry, from Kallimantan to Paupua. After boarding there is a long narrow metal stair to the upper deck. The island boys are famous for stealing bags and money inside bags on that stairway. They get behind the person, there is no room to move packed in with many people, and just have a free for all robbing whatever and whoever.I put my bag on as a backpack, hooked and clipped the flap down over the entrance to the inside of the bag before I boarded, then on the stairs I could feel little fingers trying to get in!! I just turned around, laughed at them and said, "Go ahead, you'll never get in!!" Really had fun!! They could not figure out how to steal out of your great safe bag!! Totally locked and secure. I spent a couple of days with them telling stories, sleeping on the deck, traveling past uninhabited magnificent islands like green emeralds in a deep blue sea and having a marvelous time learning the ins and outs of robbery and what to watch out for!! Anyway, I need another bag.

Hi Billy - I'm so glad I found you on the web - I've purchased two of your bags from a local luggage store and am a convert for life! All the right pockets, in all the right places! I travel a lot for my work, and was initially attracted to your bag for the security straps and its light weight, but then fell in love with the small bag on the cord for my money - I never worry about theft, the velcro closure for the phone pocket - my phone no longer escapes, and the inside cord that I use for my keys. The depth of the bag also allows me to easily carry a water bottle and book. I read your profile on your site, and am betting your sisters have been a great resource in perfecting your design. :)

Wow! You are terrific! This is the BEST bag I have ever used. I really never switch to another bag, because this one just keeps me so organized. Other bags don't have enough pockets and slots, and forget those one "deep well" bags with no pockets! I hate when everything gets thrown in and sinks to the bottom. And I love the strap that NEVER falls off my shoulder!
One other terrific feature is the little coin purse with the extra clip on the other end through the loop. I can put important keys on that clip and pull it out while the coin purse stays in the pocket. Ingenious!

Thanks for your help. The 10 Pocket Traveler is a wonderful purse, as is the smaller U-shape ShoulderSafe that I also got. These are the only ones I feel safe with when traveling. Thieves may drag me to the ground but they won't get my purse!

Thank you for the super-speedy shipment of the small microfiber satchel. I love it!
The steel cables are a bonus, but security wasn't my main concern in choosing this bag. I really just thought that the size and the organization features would make the small satchel an ideal everyday general utility purse. That’s exactly what it is proving to be.
Other bag designers might understand that we need to put things into bags and wallets. But you understand that we also need to take things out and put them back in -- sometimes one-handed -- without rummaging around, without spilling anything, and without exposing our belongings to other peoples’ eyes. We want to get all the way into a bag or wallet, and a zipper that goes beyond the corner allows that. We want to see what’s in the bag, and a light-colored lining makes that possible. We want flexibility, and oversized pleated linings give us that. You really understand these longings. Thank you for caring so much about the ways that real people actually use (and want to use) bags.
