Large horizontal crossbody travel bag has a built-in curved organizer that includes a large zipper pocket for change, a large cash slot, 2 utility pockets, 6 non-RFID card slots, and a pen slot. 11 excellent pockets help keep your things organized and secure. These include 2 oversized zipper pockets, one outside and one inside the main compartment, that can accommodate bulky objects. "Oversized" means as tall and wide as the bag with pleated expandable linings, and can easily hold things like a .5 liter water bottle, mace, etc. There are 5 handy drop-in pockets outside, including 1 with a flap, and 4 more inside, 2 large and 2 small. This size will easily hold an iPad. more anti-theft features include a Slice-Proof shoulder strap with a pair of 1/16" steel cables that adjusts to 48" for shoulder bag or crossbody sling, a leash inside the main compartment that can be extended around the shoulder strap to secure the outside zippers, and a double ended leash to secure valuables, like the included non-RFID id zipper wallet accessory, #7105, inside the front zipper pocket. Sewn with nylon thread for maximum durability. Machine washable microfiber. Non-RFID. Use gentle cycle, mild soap, cold water, and tumble air dry with no heat. It is ok to use fabric protectant. there is a built-in wallet (non-RFID) on the front (6 card slots, 3 drop in pockets, a large zipper pocket and a pen slot).
the large outer open pocket includes a smart phone drop-in pocket inside that will easily hold up to a 3.75" wide phone.
an open pocket on each end (one has a velcro flap) for sanitizer, umbrella, sunglasses or .5L water bottle (water bottle will fit if the side of the bag has room to expand inward).
inside are a super-sized, pleated zipper pocket is as tall and wide as the bag and four handy pleated drop in pockets, 2 large and 2 small.
being organized is a key to being safe - the less you are searching the more you are aware of your surroundings.

Nice Purse--Uncomfortable Strap

Based on the reviews here, I purchased this purse with high hopes of it being THE purse for me during our travels. No complaints about the pockets or security features, but the strap really cuts into my shoulder. I do not load up my bag, either, keeping only bare essentials inside along with the smallest Kindle. There is a rubber-type pad on the strap, but it is wide and doesn't serve the purpose for which it was designed, and I don't see a way to modify it. I fear I have purchased in vain! It's difficult to rate the product since it's obviously good quality; just isn't working well for me.

excellent bag, though I wish it were bigger

I bought this bag (wine color) in time for a trip to France. It is really excellent, with durability, many zippered compartments and security features, and in many ways is ideal. For me personally, it would have been better if it were 5' inches wide (deep, front to back) instead of 4' so as to better accommodate my substantial DSLR camera as well as maps, guidebooks, etc. I really do like it, however.

Travel in style and safety

Lots of compartments, rich brown color, slash-proof security lining...all within a compact design...this purse has room for almost everything except my water bottle which does not fit. Now all I have to do is remember what I've put in the numerous compartments.
