Medium vertical crossbody travel bag has a built-in curved organizer that includes a large zipper pocket for change, a large cash slot, 1 utility pocket, 7 non-RFID card slots, and a pen slot. 7 excellent pockets help keep your things organized and secure. These include 2 oversized zipper pockets, one outside and one inside the main compartment, that can accommodate bulky objects. "Oversized" means as tall and wide as the bag with pleated expandable linings, and can easily hold things like a .5 liter water bottle, mace, etc. There are 4 handy drop-in pockets outside, including 1 with a flap, and 2 more inside, 1 large and 1 small. This size will easily hold a Kindle or mini iPad. more anti-theft features include a Slice-Proof shoulder strap with a pair of 1/16" steel cables that adjusts to 48" for shoulder bag or crossbody sling, a leash inside the main compartment that can be extended around the shoulder strap to secure the outside zippers, and a double ended leash to secure valuables, like the included non-RFID id zipper wallet accessory, #7105, inside the front zipper pocket. Sewn with nylon thread for maximum durability. Machine washable microfiber. Non-RFID. Use gentle cycle, mild soap, cold water, and tumble air dry with no heat. It is ok to use fabric protectant. there is a built-in wallet (non-RFID) on the front (6 card slots, 3 drop in pockets, a large zipper pocket and a pen slot).
the large outer open pocket includes a smart phone drop-in pocket inside that will easily hold up to a 3.75" wide phone.
an open pocket on each end (one has a velcro flap) for sanitizer, umbrella, sunglasses or .5L water bottle (water bottle will fit if the side of the bag has room to expand inward).
inside is a super-sized, pleated zipper pocket that is as tall and wide as the bag, and three handy pleated drop in pockets 2 large and 1 small.
being organized is a key to being safe - the less you are searching the more you are aware of your surroundings.
material: Polyester microfiber, polyester lining, easy care machine washable, gentle cycle, mild soap, cold water, and tumble air dry no heat.

My good ol' standby
I'm using my third one of these bags. They are a bit cramped but I'm used to that by now! I've tried other bags but they never seem to meet my needs; so I always come back to this one. In response to Beck's review about cleaning, I just machine wash and dry mine and it comes out looking good. I leave it empty overnight just to make sure it is thoroughly dry inside before putting my things back in it.

Great!
I've had 2 of these in past but due to a recent fire, lost both :-( Am re-ordering another one. LOVE all the pockets, but the only thing I don't like is it isn't very easy to clean. Would love to see this in a leather, perhaps wouldn't stain so easily. This is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. (Seller's Note: This is machine washable, cold or lukewarm water, gentle cycle, mild soap, and tumble air dry to avoid water spots!)

I love this bag.
I recently purchased a black, 7 pocket organizer purse for a trip to Ireland. I love this bag! You've thought of everything I wanted and needed. I've been opening and closing zippers in purse departments for a year looking for THE perfect travel/general use bag and finally found it at Bergman's Luggage in Seattle, WA.I appreciate the outside pockets for my water bottle, or small umbrella (remember, I live in Seattle!) and cell phone. There is plenty of space inside the big compartment for the camera. The steel cables in the strap are comforting. The arrangement of the outside zippered compartment for money, credit cards and pen is perfect. (Many bags have slots for credit cards and paper money, but no zippered compartment for coins. These are useless!) I dearly love the little pockets INSIDE the bigger pockets to organize 'stuff' and be able to retrieve it. I use the leash in the main compartment for my car keys. No more fumbling. The little detachable credit card zipper wallet is wonderful when I find the need to switch purses once in a while. The open outside pocket holds maps and bus schedules plus a handy comb and sun glasses. I'm not a big person and can't abide huge purses. This one fulfills my needs and isn't bulky. I think it is sleek and attractive.May you always manufacture this model. I've demonstrated its attributes to my friends and at least one said she'd get one for herself. Thanks again for making my life more manageable and congratulations to your designers!

I LOVE your bags
I LOVE your bags, I have several now in various sizes and colors. My husband orders them for me. Not sure if you are interested in my saga with DayMakers bags, but I thought I'd share with you why I love your bags and what I still wish for. First of all I mostly use mine for day to day use and I wanted microfiber, because I don't like killing animals. I needed something that looked good with professional apparel. The first bag I got was a small back one, but it was too small. After that I got several of the medium sized ones in brown, tan and wine. Those are my favorite size. Then I wanted navy blue, but it only came in the large bag so my husband ordered one. It was bigger than I wanted (do I sound like Goldilocks?) and heavy, but I LOVED the outside organizer pocket. For travel the large one is ideal and since we frequently travel out of the country I got the large one in zebra print - no one can snatch that and get away with it easily. Next I was wishing for the medium size one with the outside pocket organizer - and I was happy to see you had the Smart Traveler 10LX, so we ordered one. Just got it. It is almost my perfect purse. The first thing I looked for is that inside strap that has a clasp on one end and a ring on the other - I love that feature. I use your little wallets on those. I understand that the outside organizer is for that, but I still keep a variety of cards and cash in those wallets. Also, I am not crazy about the shininess of the black fabric. It doesn't look as nice as the more matte finish, but I suppose it is because it can be wiped off easier when soiled? It just doesn't look like a bag I can carry when wearing a dressy suit like the others do. Darn. I love that a water bottle fits in the outside pocket. That's it! Again, I love your bags, people recognize them as 'my bag' and are starting to ask where I get them.

I love these bags!
This is the perfect bag. I have every color shown and some no longer listed. I have a couple in the larger and smaller sizes but this is the perfect size for me. I have been carrying them for years!

Hard to get at items in bag
I have not used this bag yet, but my initial thoughts about the product are that the opening seems too narrow when trying to access items and the depth is not wide enough. Seems too snug when filled. Might decide to buy aanother style bag.

Best Travel Purse
Have had this bag over 10 years and feel very secure traveling solo with it. I would not travel alone with any other handbag. Holds everything I need for a day out in the city, including umbrella and water bottle in outside pockets. Looks dressy enough, but is very functional.

Best travel bag
I bought this bag 6 years ago for a trip to Turkey, but it's so handy and organized that it's my default purse despite a closet of bags. I think I'm addicted to it. Perfect for overseas travel or runs to the grocery store: secure, hardy, unpretentious. As for being too small for a water bottle, that's baffling-- I always have a water bottle in it. Even my small Sigg gets cosy in the side pocket.
