This bag is well made and, although small, is big enough to carry more than just essentials.

Very compact and light weight- after adding essentials the total weight is not too much to develop shoulder pain for me.multiple pockets to stash things- but if you like lots of loose space to dig thru your belongings, this bag is not for you. Sadly after 1 month of use I discovered a tear of lining from the top seam of bag— think this is a workmen-ship issue( not enough lining material left as seam allowance). Previously had gotten a larger version in leather, made in USA, and THAT old one has no quality issues. Overall a nice bag.
