#5211 Leather Purse pack organizer, plus flap 8 pockets plus anti-theft convertible to shoulder bag, 12"x8.5"x5", 31" straps, leather (soft bottom)

I have had mine for over one year (in taupe, microfiber) and it has held up beautifully. When it gets dirty, I just toss in in the machine, and it's good as new. I just don't know what I would do without this bag, as it is easy to carry, holds a lot, and is always perfectly organized. I also highly recommend.

I have used this bag on a long trip to Greece and the Greek Islands and a long trip to Australia as well as a couple of cruises. It is wonderful and also holds a water bottle. My next trip is a very long trip to Asia and beyond, and I know this bag will have everything I need.

I'm a huge fan of this small backpack. This is my second BeSafe convertible backpack with flap. I bought my first one nearly ten years ago and finally wore it out this year. It was my go-to purse for extended foreign travel and also for outings around my hometown where I needed to haul more gear and wanted the comfort of a backpack with the look of a purse. It easily packs a classic moleskine journal, sunscreen, a rollable sunhat, small camera and wallet without looking stuffed. There are several compartments for organization and security. I particularly love the front pocket under the flap for pens and my cell phone. The side pockets are great for sunglasses or tissue packs.I give this four stars for a few reasons: first off, the clasp that holds down the flap is not especially well made. The first time around, the clasp failed, and I requested a full replacement. When the clasp on the new backpack again, I took it to a luggage repair shop and had it replaced with a sturdier clasp that held until I finally wore through the fabric straps and exposed the security chains this year. The clasp replacement was not a costly repair, but it could be quite an inconvenience if it broke out on the road. If you buy this bag, you may want to consider pre-emptively replacing the clasp.My second reason for only four stars is Daymakers used to make this backpack in black microfiber. The black leather is a rugged grain that looks nice, it's almost too dressy for how I use it. it would be a superb bag for wandering the streets of Europe, less so for trekking in Central and South America during rainy season. The microfiber held up wonderfully in the rain and the water beaded off the fabric flap. (I also considered the PacSafe CitySafe 350 this time around, but I could tell the fabric would never hold up to rain.) The microfiber always cleaned up easily too with mild soap and water. Given how I use this bag and the travel I tend to do, I'm not sure I'll get the same use out of the leather version. Or if I do, I'll be more worried about it getting damaged by the elements. Black is such a staple color and the microfiber so functional that I wish Daymakers would bring it back.

Looks like a great item. Not to large just the right size for traveling.

I purchased this because of it's secuity features and that met all my expectations. I also liked the ablitity to change from a back pack to a shoulder bag. Because of the security feature I wasn't afraid of someone slashing the handles and running way with my bag. I am not a many pocket fan so that feature I don't like. I always forget where I put something.

An unbelievable bag, especially for traveling. Keeps everything secure and organized. My favorite is the cowhide, which wears like iron. It is great as a sling purse, but great when you need handsfree as a backpack. Nothing else like it on the market. HIGHLY recommend.

I love the backpack purse - zippers and compartments offer excellent safety and plenty of storage. I did have one problem with one of the safety clips to lock the zippers breaking but not sure if this was a quality problem or the fact that I fell and the purse was under me when it broke. Overall very happy with the item.

This bag is absolutely fantastic for travel as well as for everyday use. The best part is all the neat security features-the cables in the straps, hooks through the zipper pulls. etc. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
